Our mission is to provide a trusted, premium, and authentic matchmaking service for individuals seeking marriage partners within the Marathi community. Your use of the Site signifies your acceptance of these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines or rules posted on the Site.

1. Eligibility

To register and use the Site, you must meet the following criteria:

  • To register and use Lakshminarayan Vivah, a member must meet the legal age of marriage as per Indian law, which is 21 years or older for males and 18 years or older for females.
  • Be legally eligible to marry under the laws of your jurisdiction.
  • Identify as part of the Marathi-speaking community. This Site is exclusively for individuals who are part of or identify with the Marathi-speaking community worldwide.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during registration.
  • Profiles can be created for self, siblings, or parents, but only with full consent of the person concerned.
  • You are not prohibited from using the Service under the laws of India or any other applicable jurisdiction.
  • Lakshminarayan reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at its sole discretion if we have reason to believe you do not meet these eligibility requirements.

2. Account Registration and Verification

To create an account, you agree to the following:

  • Provide a valid government-issued ID (e.g., Aadhaar, passport, driver’s license) for identity verification. We reserve the right to request additional documents if necessary.
  • Ensure all information submitted, including personal details and marital status, is accurate, current, and complete.
  • Update your account information promptly if there are any changes (e.g., marital status, contact details).
  • Accounts will only be activated after successful verification of your identity by Lakshminarayan Vivah Sanstha.
  • You may create only one account per individual. Multiple accounts are strictly prohibited and may result in termination.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (e.g., username, password) and for all activities under your account.
  • We use your government-issued ID solely for identity verification. Verified status may be displayed on your profile (e.g., “ID Verified”), but specific ID details will not be shared with other users.

3. User Conduct

You agree to use the Site responsibly and in good faith, adhering to the following rules:

  • Use the Site solely for the purpose of seeking a marriage partner.
  • Provide truthful and accurate information in your profile, including but not limited to age, marital status, education, occupation, and personal preferences.
  • Treat other users with respect and refrain from harassment, abuse, stalking, or any threatening behavior.
  • Do not post or share content that is offensive, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, or inappropriate, including but not limited to text, photos, or messages.
  • Do not impersonate others, create false identities, or misrepresent your identity or intentions.
  • Refrain from using the Site for commercial purposes, such as advertising products, services, or soliciting money.
  • Do not discuss, demand, or offer dowry or any other illegal consideration for marriage, as this is prohibited under Indian law (e.g., Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961).
  • Accurately disclose your current marital status (e.g., single, divorced, widowed, separated). Users who are married or in a committed relationship must not use the Site unless legally separated and intending to remarry.
  • Report any misconduct, suspicious behavior, or violations of these Terms to Lakshminarayan Vivah Sanstha immediately.
  • Not to use bots, scripts, or any automated methods to access the Platform.
  • Failure to comply with these conduct rules may result in account suspension or termination.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

5. Intellectual Property

  • Subscriptions may auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date through your account settings.
  • We reserve the right to modify subscription fees or introduce new charges with prior notice via the Site or email.
  • Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension of premium features.
  • Pre-Launch Phase subscriptions are offered at a special price for 3 months from the date of launch.
  • Post-Launch subscriptions are sold at the standard price.
  • All payments are non-refundable, except as outlined in our Refund Policy. You agree not to raise chargebacks without valid grounds.
  • Additional terms specific to paid services may apply and will be provided at the time of subscription.

7. Liability and Disclaimers

  • The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • Our Platform offers tools to discover suitable matches based on your preferences; however, we do not guarantee that you will find a suitable match, that marriages will occur, or that all user-provided information is accurate or truthful.
  • While we verify user identities using government-issued IDs, we do not verify other profile details (e.g., education, income, background). Users are advised to independently verify information before making decisions.
  • Lakshminarayan Vivah Sanstha is not liable for any damages, including but not limited to emotional distress, financial loss, or physical harm, arising from your use of the Site or interactions with other users, whether online or offline.
  • We are not responsible for the conduct of users or the outcome of any meetings arranged through the Site.
  • Lakshminarayan does not guarantee the character, compatibility, or the intentions of other users.
  • Lakshminarayan does not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by other users.
  • Lakshminarayan does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation of the Service.
  • Lakshminarayan does not investigate financial status or history.
  • Our verification process confirms identity only and does not include background checks (e.g., criminal history, financial status).
  • Members are responsible for verifying the credentials and background of other users before making any personal or legal commitments.
  • You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.
  • You acknowledge that you should exercise caution and use good judgment when communicating with, meeting, or sharing information with other users.
  • You acknowledge that you should conduct your own due diligence before proceeding with any matrimonial arrangement.
  • You use the Site at your own risk and are encouraged to exercise caution in all interactions.

8. Termination

  • We may terminate accounts for any rule violation or inactivity.
  • You may delete your account anytime. Deletion is permanent.
  • Service is provided "as is" with no guarantees.

9. Dispute Resolution

All disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Pune, Maharashtra, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The process may be conducted in Marathi or English.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Exclusion of Damages: We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
  • Cap on Liability: Our total liability is capped at the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.
  • User Disputes: We are not responsible for user conflicts.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Lakshminarayan from losses and legal costs resulting from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Your use of the Service

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: Indian laws will apply.
  • Jurisdiction: Pune, Maharashtra courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.
  • Informal Resolution: You must try to resolve disputes by contacting us before arbitration.
  • Arbitration: Disputes will be handled per Indian arbitration laws in Pune.

14. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms include the Privacy Policy.
  • Severability: If part of these Terms is invalid, the rest remain enforceable.
